We welcome you to the “3rd IAPSM Young Leaders’ National Conclave 2022” from 10th-12th November 2022. With the objective of inspiring the young community physicians, the theme for the conclave is ‘Community Physicians for Sustainable Health’. The conclave envisages to explore, elucidate, and strengthen the roles of community physicians for long-term improvement and maintenance of health of the populations. It will give them the impetus to strive for professional excellence and achieve sustainable health for all.
The conclave will consist of multiple interesting pre-conference workshops that will be conducted by the doyens in their fields. There will be some innovative sessions besides the plenary sessions, orations, multiple competitions, and scientific paper presentations. It will be supported by several national and international luminaries in the field of Community Medicine. There will be ample opportunities for the delegates to get enriched, motivated and satiated with the academic extravaganza.

Bhubaneswar is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Odisha. The region, especially the old town, was historically often depicted as Ekamra Khetra (area (kshetra) adorned with mango trees (ekamra)).
Being the ‘Temple Town’ and the capital of Odisha, Bhubaneswar is a beautiful city famous for its architecture grandeur and innumerable temples in varied sizes and designs. The Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine, is a National level Professional body in the field of Community Medicine/Public health. It is founded in 1974. It is a "not for profit" organization of specialists Preventive & Social Medicine/ Community Medicine/Public Health.Members of IAPSM are specialists in Preventive & Social Medicine, Community Medicine, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Management, Health Promotion, and Family Medicine. It has 4200+ members from across the India serving in Medical Colleges, National & state Government health departments, various health institutes working in the field of research, training, epidemiology, surveillance etc. Also, many of its members are working as experts in International development agencies, NGOs or working as freelance public health consultants.It is formally registered (No. S/14240) under Society Act XXI 1860 on 13th February 1984 in the office of Registrar of Society, New Delhi.
IAPSM is dedicated to the promotion of public health by bringing its members' expertise to the development of health policies, an advocate for Medical education, Health Research, Health care and Health Programs and providing a forum for the regular exchange of views & information.IAPSM is an important stakeholder in Health care services, Medical Education and Public Health/Community Medicine.The IAPSM effectively facilitate creation of evidence based Policy and planning by the Administrators and Public Representatives. IAPSM also contribute in promotion of peoples health through extending technical support like capacity building, monitoring and evaluation of health services/programs, epidemiological and health system research.
